The Napoli — Brown Houndstooth Suit

Question 1: What sizes does this suit come in?

Answer 1: XS through to 6XL. Use the measurement chart on this
page rather than your usual high-street size — measure your
chest at the fullest point and match it to the chart. The cut is
slim, so if you're between two sizes or carry muscle through the
shoulders, take the larger one. Unsure? Email us your chest,

Question 2: What is the suit made of?

Answer 2: This suit comes in three cloths — select yours above.

Linen: fully lined, the coolest cloth we offer, made for
summer.

Microfibre: fully lined, spun from an extremely fine yarn that
drapes softly and reads matte rather than shiny.

Performance polyester: fully lined, the most durable of the
three, with a finish that resists creasing and holds its shape
through a long day.

Question 3: Which cloth should I choose?

Answer 3: Linen if it's summer, or the wedding is abroad.
Nothing else keeps you as cool. It creases heavily — deliberately
so. Linen is meant to look relaxed, and if that bothers you,
choose one of the other two.

Microfibre if you want the softest hand and the best drape. The
yarn is finer than standard polyester, so it moves more like
wool and has none of the shine people associate with cheap
suiting. This is the one to choose if you're wearing it often.

Performance polyester if you travel, commute, or need a suit
that turns up ready. It comes out of a suitcase wearable, keeps
its crease where you want one, and takes the most punishment.

Question 4: How do I care for it?

Answer 4: Linen: cool wash or dry clean. Air dry — never tumble
dry on heat. Steam rather than iron, and accept the creases.

Microfibre: machine washable at 30 degrees. Hang to dry, low
heat only.

Performance polyester: machine washable at 30 degrees. Hang to
dry and it needs almost no pressing.

For all three, use a wide wooden hanger and give the jacket room
in the wardrobe. That one habit does more for a suit's life than
anything else.

Question 5: Isn't linen going to crease badly?

Answer 5: Yes. That's the fibre, and it's the point — a linen
suit is supposed to look easy rather than pressed. It relaxes
within an hour of wearing and stays that way.

If you want to arrive somewhere looking crisp and stay that way
all day, take the microfibre or the polyester instead. We'd
rather tell you now than have you send it back.
